In April 2024, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 10.594 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 6.542 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 4.052 billion US dollars. In comparison to April 2023, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 7.33%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 2.76% increase and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 15.63%. Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 3.504 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 2.604 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 0.901 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 2.406 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 1.321 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 1.085 billion US dollars).
