In December 2024, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 13.272 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 8.908 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 4.364 billion US dollars. In comparison to December 2023, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 31.01%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 27.79% increase and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 38.11%. Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 4.618 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 3.735 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 0.884 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 3.526 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 2.305 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 1.221 billion US dollars).
