In January 2025, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 11.751 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 8.284 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 3.467 billion US dollars. In comparison to January 2024, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 9.01%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 21.52% increase and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries decreased by 12.50%. Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 3.947 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 3.212 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 0.735 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 3.452 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 2.489 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 0.963 billion US dollars).
