In July 2021, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 10.277 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 6.182 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 4.096 billion US dollars. In comparison to July 2020, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 39.41%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 43.29% increase and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 33.94%. Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 3.421 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 2.325 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 1.096 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 2.098 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 1.22 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 0.879 billion US dollars).
