In July 2024, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 11.254 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 6.778 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 4.475 billion US dollars. In comparison to July 2023, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 8.70%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 0.42% decrease and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 26.21%. Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 3.176 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 2.281 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 0.895 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 3.149 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 1.841 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 1.308 billion US dollars).
