In June 2022, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 12.244 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 7.399 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 4.845 billion US dollars. In comparison to June 2021, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 27.26%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 27.34% increase and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 27.13%. Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 3.872 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 2.813 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 1.059 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 3.061 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 1.784 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 1.278 billion US dollars).
