In June 2024, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 11.440 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 7.013 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 4.427 billion US dollars. In comparison to June 2023, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 31.52%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 30.89% increase and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 32.53%. Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 3.725 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 2.981 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 0.744 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 3.065 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 1.578 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 1.487 billion US dollars).
