In March 2022, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 11.706 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 6.845 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 4.861 billion US dollars. In comparison to March 2021, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 18.59%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 18.87% increase and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 18.2%. Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 3.522 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 2.54 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 0.982 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 2.636 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 1.265 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 1.371 billion US dollars).
