In October 2024, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 11.945 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 7.678 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 4.268 billion US dollars. In comparison to October 2023, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 13.13%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 13.05% increase and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 13.29%. Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 3.672 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 2.814 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 0.858 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 2.954 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 1.675 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 1.279 billion US dollars).
