In September 2024, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 11.612 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 7.286 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 4.325 billion US dollars. In comparison to September 2023, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 9.15%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 2.43% decrease and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 36.44%. Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 3.713 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 2.867 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 0.847 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 2.949 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 1.590 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 1.359 billion US dollars).
